Indian Motorcycle has unveiled two new limited edition Elite models. For 2025, Indian has revealed its new Indian Challenger Elite and Indian Pursuit Elite machines. Both bikes feature Indian’s liquid cooled PowerPlus 112 engine and deliver an extra “…level of detail, custom quality paint straight from the factory, high end components, and advanced rider technologies that Indian says are made to improve rider awareness and enhance rider convenience.
Indian Challenger Elite
First up is the Indian Challenger Elite which the company says draws its design inspiration from the legacy of Gene “Alabama Flash” Walker. The Alabama Flash set a land speed record in 1920 on a Indian PowerPlus. At the time, Walker was considered “…the fastest man alive.”
The Challenger Elite arrives with a tri-tone paint scheme featuring premium Black Candy and Red Candy finishes laid on top of a White Pearl Satin paint. To add a bit more “dazzle” to the paint, Indian has added “shattered glass particles to the paint to add brilliance and depth.” Also making an appearance in the bike’s paint is an Indian Motorcycle Headdress logo pattern laid over a hand painted fade. Complimenting all this paint work are premium Dark Horse finishes which Indian says give the limited edition bagger a bold, race inspired style that gets noticed. Topping off the Challenger Dark Horse’s special treatments is an individually numbered center console with an image of Gene Walker’s PowerPlus racer, and distinctive PowerPlus 112 engine covers and Elite badging throughout.

Indian Pursuit Elite
Indian says the Challenger Pursuit Elite draws its inspiration from the 20,000 PowerPlus motorcycles it designed in 1916 for the U.S. Army. This limited edition touring machine also features a tri-tone paint job with Black Candy and Black Forest Candy finishes with hand painted gold accents. The bike also features black Dark Horse finishes throughout to provide a more sophisticated style. In addition, each Indian Pursuit Elite features distinctive PowerPlus 112 engine covers and exclusive Elite badging throughout including an individually numbered center console.

Propulsion
Both machines are equipped with the company’s PowerPlus 112 engine which produce a claimed 126 horsepower and 133 pound-feet of torque. To accomplish this level of power, the engine uses overhead cams and 4-valves per cylinder, which Indian says enables the powerplant to offer both high horsepower and high torque. Indian says the engine “…delivers both high horsepower and high torque. This unique combination delivers an unmatched ride without sacrifices – optimizing acceleration across the rev range for passing power in every gear.”
Premium Components
But the engine is not the only thing these machines received in premium components. Indian says each bike’s frame geometry and stiffness are designed to maximize available power and nimble, precise handling. The machines also get inverted forks and dual radial Brembo brakes that help the bike deliver great handling and confident stopping. At the rear, the bikes come standard with electronically adjustable rear suspension preload which lets riders seamlessly set the bike’s rear suspension preload using the machine’s RIDE COMMAND system.
These two new Elite models also receive 5-spoke precision machined wheels mounted with Metzeler Cruisetec tires. They also benefit from a Pathfinder Adaptive LED Headlight, Driving Lights, and Pathfinder Auxiliary LED Saddlebag Lights for enhanced visibility.
To increase rider comfort and manage airflow in the bikes’ cockpits, Indian mounts an adjustable Flare windshield on the Challenger Elite, while the Pursuit Elite boasts an adjustable windshield that is controlled with handlebar mounted push buttons. Both machines get Headdress Driver and Passenger floorboards to provide additional foot room and comfort. There’s also keyless ignition and remote locking storage for extra security and convenience.
Comfort And Enjoyment Additions
The Pursuit Elite offers a green color-matched, stitched heated seat and heated grips. At the handlebars, backlit switch cubes let you make your selections when the sun has set on your day. Of course, there’s a premium sound setup featuring Indian’s PowerBand Audio. It features four 100-watt speakers on the on the Challenger Elite and six 100-watt speakers on the Pursuit Elite. The systems also feature Bass Boost and a nine-band dynamic equalizer that automatically adjusts the sound for road, wind, and engine noise. The speakers also feature UnderGlow white LED lighting for a more custom look.
Technology Enhancements
Both the Challenger Elite and Pursuit Elite arrive with a host of features to improve rider awareness and enhance convenience. These rider assist technologies are bundled with Indian’s previously offered SmartLean technology which includes the following amenities:
- Bike Hold Control – Activated by the rider, this braking system automatically maintains brake pressure to prevent the bike from rolling while resting at an incline for up to three minutes.
- Electronic Combined Brake System – This feature optimizes brake pressure across both front and rear circuits based on the rider’s brake input, delivering balanced and efficient braking performance.
- Blind Spot Warning – The system alerts riders when a vehicle is detected in their rear blind spot with warnings across their in-dash seven-inch display powered by RIDE COMMAND and light indicators on the side mirrors. Riders can customize notification preferences to suit their needs.
- Tailgate Warning – This warning system alerts riders when a vehicle is traveling too close for comfort behind the rider. Riders will be notified via their in-dash seven-inch display powered by RIDE COMMAND. Riders can adjust notification mode and following distances to suit their preferences.
- Rear Collision Warning – This feature alerts rearward approaching vehicles via rear lighting when a potential rear collision is detected.
- Cylinder deactivation function which Indian says “…enhances comfort when stopped at idle.”
- Three ride modes that lets riders customize the machine’s throttle response and their ride experience.
- An advanced infotainment system equipped with a 7-inch display and Bluetooth connectivity.
Adding to the enhancements is RIDE COMMAND+ connected services which offer GPS navigation with turn-by-turn mapping, Apple CarPlay, live traffic and weather overlays, and intuitive destination search for navigation.
